It’s six months since Australia’s Foreign Minister Kevin Rudd commissioned a sweeping review of Australia’s aid program, led by former senior diplomat and public servant Sandy Hollway. That review will be handed to the Foreign Minister this week. When he announced the review, Mr Rudd said he wanted to maximise the effectiveness of Australia’s aid program before 2015, when aid is due to reach $8 billion. Today we’re joined by representatives of the aid sector who’ve made submissions to the review.

Presenter: Joanna McCarthy
Speakers: Andrew Hewitt, Executive Director of Oxfam; Gary Lee, co-director of Aid Watch; Greg Vickery, partner at Norton Rose and chair of Aus Red Cross Society
